First pass:

Well, I honestly couldn't say I was surprised at that point. I had done her a major wrong. So I made a decision. Death with dignity and all that. “Grant the last request of the condemned then?” I asked.
“I'm touched by your oddly sincere lack of sincerity, Captain Greycoat.” She paused, then added, “Or should I rather say Lord Greycoat?”

“I'd much rather you didn't,” I replied, with as much dignity as I could muster in my current position. “How did you find out?”

“Oh, he'd have paid,” I said bitterly. “And then would have never let me forget that he had, and how much. That sort of interest on a loan I'd rather avoid.”
