Having plowed through Kim and rather enjoyed it, much to my surprise, I think it is worth a read. It was less offensive than I expected it to be. I think he did a well enough job in making Indians more human than a lot of the works of that era. So yeah, basically, I was extremely surprised that I didn't want to throw the book across the room.

I have never tried to slog through Atlas Shrugged, however.
