Recently I've posting fanfic again on the Terinu forum. It's been fun, and I'll admit I enjoy the egoboo. Folks there like what I write, and they say so, even if it's just "Oh, that's cool." But recently my latest story has been getting even better comments.

(roughly paraphrasing here.)

Chapter Five: "No! She can't really be dead!" [1]

Chapter Eight: (concerning the bad guy's motives for conquering the Earth) "Y'know, he's actually got a good point."

Man, when a writer can make the readers agree with the villian's point of view that is golden.

[1] The nice thing was, this was concerning an original character, not one of Peta's, whom readers would automatically be sympathetic to.

LOL! You're not scheming to steal the lime light off the comic are you?! Your fic is generating more conversation then mine... I might be getting jealous! *grin*

Seriously I am really enjoying this. Though you KILLED RACHAEL!!! I thought I'd better add that. Though it's great when something like that happens. It gives the reader that slightly unstable feeling that it's not going to be a predictable plot line and anything can happen.

And I LOVE how you portrayed the Gene Mage, both in his attitude towards Mark and his affection for the little pink haired ferin. It is exactly how I picture him to be.

I'm glad you liked the pic. It was one of those things that i just had to draw.

Yea! I'm glad you're enjoying it (even if it is generating more discussion traffic right now. :P) Yeah, killing Racheal seems to be generating a lot of comment. And believe me, it's goign to be generating even more comment in a couple of chapters.

And I'm glad you like the way I'm doing the Gene Mage. Of the two Varn we've seen, he's at least a bit more sympathetic than Dream Stalker (though he did in fact order Gisko to ambush and kill all of those pirates.) I fear his grandfatherly image is going to be a little bit tattered in the next few chapters though.

Heh.

My one regret about this sotry is I can't figure a place to shoehorn in an appearance by Samaneus from "Origin of the Species."
