Airwolf: There are fans, and then there are FANS

A helicopter museum in Tennessee decided the perfect centerpiece for their exhibits was a full-scale non-flying mockup of Airwolf.

If I ever get down that way, it's on my list of things to see...

Speaking of aircraft

Speaking of aircraft museums, His Infernal Majesty and I were talking about taking a run out to Dayton some time to check out the USAF museum. We meant to hit it on the way back from the Land of Cheese and Bratwurst, but got into Dayton too late. Besides, it would give an excuse to hit Schmidt's Sausage Haus in Colubmus and feed my newly acquired knockwurst addiction.

Might you be interested?

I would be very interested, assuming I can work out the schedule with Tracy. Give me some dates you might want to try it, and I'll compare it to her schedule.

Depends on what the Devil has due. He'll be starting his last semester in nursing school in a couple weeks so he's going to be tied up for bit. (Why do I suddenly have an image of Nurse Ratchet jumped up on steroids with an even grumpier attitude?). Anyways, I digress. I'll check with him and see what he has in mind. I think we will have to eat through the 6lbs of sausage we bought last time before we make the run though.

It'll like be a two day trip to make it worthwhile...say leave on Friday, hit Dayton that Saturday for the museum, come back on a Sunday -- with two nights in lovely Columbus to get stuffed on brats and beer!

Ernest Cline has a bit about Airwolf - look for track 4 on the right. (Warning: strong language - you might not want to play it over speakers at work.)

Heard it before (thought I hadn't seen the helpfully labled Technical Diagram there.) Brilliant. :) "Airwolf" is just a cool word all around.

Currently I'm unemployed, so NSFW is no problem.
