Two nerdily exciting things.

1) I finally managed to snag my 100th Mutual Friend on LJ. So thank you [livejournal.com profile] siedhr for thinking my entries are cool enough to read regularly.

2) I managed to snag a copy of GURPS Conan off of e-bay at a decent price. After downloading e23's scan of G: Bunnnies & Burrows, that means the only thing I need left to have an absolutely complete GURPS collection is G: Up Harzburk (deeply flawed as it is).

I am such a freaking geek.

Haha, who knew I'd be a milestone? Life can be odd like that. Thanks for friending me back.

I found you through metaquotes, read your bio, noticed we had interests in common (writing, Stargate - I hope they don't cancel it - and the cats, of course), looked through your entries and your DA, and clicked the button.

I should have made this post before I pressed that button. I don't know why I friend people anonymously. Maybe it's laziness. :)

Oh, man. I'm just over 40 and that's counting books where I've got 4th edition version superseding them.

*is not worthy*

Icon love! (wish I knew how to make animated icons).

Well, I have been collecting them since I was sixteen or so. God I'm old...

Icon credit to [livejournal.com profile] aota, who shares generously.

That's my problem -- I went from TFT to 3rd edition.

"I am such a freaking geek."

You say that like it might be a *bad* thing.

Of course you know I'm having icon envy right now! (g)

Thank you. Feel free to copy it like I did. It's a line from a Terry Brooks novel that I'm grateful I haven't read...

Oh my goodness. You're not going to believe this but we've actually got an original copy of Bunnies and Burrows! lol

I'm suitably boggled. Do you mean the GURPS worldbook or the original RPG? If it's the latter, I'd love to know how it managed to migrate all the way down to Australia!
