Dear Brain

Writing prose does not involve waiting for the Happy Purple Unicorns from the Muse Dimension to show up and give you inspiration. It means opening up Word and typing something in. Anything!

Yours,
Royce

Very cool. I will see what I can figure out.

Boy, do I understand (and sympathize with) that one.

I'm glad mine's a 40s bathing beauty and not a purple unicorn, though [g].

*grins* Brains can be a little slow in the uptake of this. Though I find nanowrimo helps! I'm not going to make the 50.000 but at least I'm not stuck doing nothing for weeks before I write a little again. I wonder if I'll be able to continue in this pace after this...

At least it really does work to just sit down, open word and type. It might not be very pretty, but things do come out ^^

I'm going to try that 'write or die' site Tracy mentioned on her journal during my holidays. My problem is whether to force myself to continue with the current story I'm writing or start a fresh one to see if i can do a private, abreviated form of Nanorimo... seeing as I missed out doing it again.

The Write or Die site has been working well for Tracy, but I can't really use it, since I do most of my writing in little dribbles at work.
