Thirty Days of Drabbles - Day Three

For [livejournal.com profile] scarfman ’s prompt of “A Doctor Who/Girl Genius crossover.”

Agatha grabbed Gil by the hand and yanked him down the hallway in a dead run just as the pneumatic axes began fall from their hidden alcoves.

“I thought the castle was listening to you now!” he shouted as they dodged around a corner and began hop-scotching over the electrified inlays.

Most of it is,” she yelled back. “This section must have more seriously damaged!” Then it was time for them to scream simultaneously as a pair of mechanical arms reached down to grab them by their belts and haul them through a trapdoor in the ceiling. They were deposited in front of a tall, thin man wearing a tweed suit and a manic expression.

“Hello, I’m the Doctor,” he said, holding out his hand. “Did you say something about a mad artificial intelligence? I think I might be able to help you with that.”

It is almost scary how well The Doctor would fit in Girl Genius. I suspect in the end he would leave in part to avoid having to decline more offers from the Baron to study who it is he shows signs of the spark without going to the mad place. "It would only involve a little dissection. If what you say is true you should even regenerate good as new."

Well given how Steampunky the Doctor is already (he can fix anything!) it isn't that much of a stretch.

And he and the Baron would not get along at all.

Oh but it would be so much fun to stick those two together! :D
Yup, they've gone for a real steam punk look with Matt Smith and it's amazing what a great fit that is. very cool drabble by the way. I could just picture this happening.
