Random Notes

Georgia's mysterious bumpy feet dissapeared a half hour after I saw them, after a dose of liquid ibuprofen and an ice pack. Apparently they weren't Chicken Pox, nor Hand, Foot & Mouth disease as my sister suspected. Whatever it was there hasn't been a reccurance, so Go Us.

Writing on Shadow of the Red Vixen continues to limp along. I've been managing a paragraph or two a day, but no more than that. A combination of scatterbrainia and a general lack of motivation is hampering me. Need to see if I can set aside some time and drag the laptop over to the library to use in a quiet room or something.

Additionally, I'm wondering if I could use Kickstarter to pay for book cover art, with the promise of a free e-copy to everyone who contributes. Probably a stupid idea.

Meanwhile I've got a LoZ script fic I should also be looking at more closely...

Sounds like an allergic contact rash. Check for soap or other liquidy/smearable materials that could have somehow ended up on one's feet.

I'd also be inclined to go with an allergy of some sort. Running around on the grass at all?

In regards to cover art, DA has been great for finding artists that will trade work.
Hey, do you want a hard copy of any of your work? I'm printing and binding my own books now.

Yipe. Bit cool to doing that in this hemisphere (26F last Saturday with snow showers.) Still, a skin allergy seems to be the best bet.

As for trading cover art, I am willing to trade prose for images, but my last call when I was publishing Triumvirate didn't go that great.

Hmm, hard copies... Any chance of getting a bound copy of CotRV or Triumvirate? :)

ahh haha yeah I forgot it's still rather chilly up there!

No problem, I'll do one of each if you like! I'll send you a message in the next day or so when life is less crazy 'round here.

I had something similar to Georgia's foot rash once. It was how I discovered I am allergic to sulfa drugs.
