Dropped Thomas off at daycare and got to my polling place at 7:45. It'd been open 45 minutes and I was the 266th person to vote that morning. Two hundred and sixty-sixth! Despite it being the first big election to use electronic voting machines in this area, things were going pretty smoothly. I find it a little worrisome that with such a crowd there were only six voting machines in operation, but we'll see how that goes. The only bummer was that this was the first election I've participated in where the PTA wasn't selling cookies at the door. :(
