1. Had the princely sum of $5.00 deposited into my PayPal account for the last sale of Unexpected Diversions.

2. Added a couple paragraphs to the long dormant sequel to Grace of God/Spin Recovery. Frankly, Alt-Rufus and Hazel are more fun to think about than poor Marty and Whitepelt at the moment. Even I can only take so much angst.

3. Had yet another comment added to TV Tropes entry for Good Landing (It's in the Tear Jerker section under the Fan Fiction subfolder) I'd actually forgotten that it had been published in Sabledrake.

Just a little scenelet that popped into my head from my half-abandoned sequel to "Spin Recovery".

PG-13 for drug use.

Just noodling a bit while I try and recover momentum on Andrea's Story.

This is the last I'm saying on this particular subject.

Really.

I just figured out what alt-Gwen Freeman is like in the Grace of God universe and how she can show up in the sequel.

Heh.

Hehe.

Bwahahaha!

"Rufus, I know you're a bloody knight-errant, but we really can't afford to be picking up strays."

For those of you who rather wouldn't look through six months worth of LJ entries to read the whole thing, here are direct links to the larger chunks I posted to my DA account.

It worked out to about 53,000 words. Which if I had managed to do it in a month would have been a good NanoWriMo effort. But, I didn't, and its not anything that I can sell anyway. Though I may end up bundling it with Grace of God and printing out a few private copies for myself on Lulu.com

Okay, still not done yet but I've managed to recreate a few of the missing paragraphs to bring the next part of the scene to a logical mico-climax before I finish it (again).

I wrote about five pages on Spin Recovery yesterday before I left work. I come in this morning and bring up the file to finish the climax, only to find the five pages I wrote are gone, lost to the ether. I haven't the faintest idea where they went, because I swear I was saving the damned thing as I went along and before I left work yesterday. ARRRRRRRGH. now I have to retype them and I know it isn't going to be as good. *headdesk*

Gorram it!

I got a free hour to kill at home before I pick up Thomas and I am just two paragraphs from the end of the big climax of Spin Recovery and I forgot to attach the damned file to the email when I sent it to myself!

I'm cutting this scene in half just because it has been a week or so since the last bit. Hopefully [livejournal.com profile] chaypeta won't mind me extrapolating massively about how the Vulpine government works. :)

Wii: Took the spare Wii-mote that [livejournal.com profile] moonshadowed had bought to go with the machine back to Best Buy, exchanging it for Wii Play, which includes a wii-mote and pack of mini-games. The shooting game is as fun as I remember it being, though I'm going to have to work to get the hang of that stupid tank game. I'm definitely going to have to design more Miis to populate it though. Currently I've got on av based on myself and the rest on characters from my stories, including Tez, Maria and Andrea.

Writing: Still poking at the current scene in Spin Recovery. Got a nice idea to integrate two elements together that had been seperate ideas, which was good. It's an action bit so of course it's going to get complicated, and I'm hoping that when I'm done with it a pilot can read it without wincing, like the medical scenes after [livejournal.com profile] chaypeta got throughg vetting them.

Lulu: Much to my surprise, someone bought a download of The Dragon's Companion back in February. I wonder who it was. 0_0 I'm still debating whether I should give up on Andrea's Story and the idea of making a book devoted exclusively to Tez & Maria. It might make more sense to make an omnibus of everything I've written, so the page count justifies Peta's lovely cover design.

This is just the first part of this scene, but it's going to be a long one and I wanted to get something posted, since it's been a week since the last one.

Today I managed to pass page 100 in this story, which makes it about 16 pages longer than The Grace of God, the story that originally inspired it.

Ye, gods. If only I could write this much for something I could actually sell.
