Wierd Dreams
Nov. 16th, 2004 02:10 am2 am and I'm awake, and it's not even Tom's fault. Stupid internal clock...
Anyway, before waking up I dreamed about the movie Three Kings, despite the fact that I've never actually watched it. Skipped most of the Steal the Gold plot (which somehow involved moving up to an ancient ruin and there persauding Dubya (not George Senior) to give a speech in front of a cunning backdrop of the oval office to fool Saddam into... something.
Clooney and Other Guy get seperated from their unit and stumble across the refugees, packed into an ancient Roman chariot circus, who are being watched over by a cute US aid worker. They overhear a young couple talking about all the paperwork to get through for refugee status in the United States, and agree that it would easier just to Ascend, since they'd both be shoo ins. Other chats up the aid worker, trying to find out from her if this "Ascend" is the suicide pact that he thinks it is. Meanwhile Clooney is caught and beaten by some MP's, but is rescued (sorta) by his grandfather (think the Clean Old Man from A Hard Day's Night in a bright red golfer's outfit), who tries to zap them with a homemade taser. Unfortunately he's blind, so it doesn't work, but Clooney's loyal dog takes down the MP's anyway.
