1. A character you absolutely worship

Christopher. Because out of all the Archangels, he seems the most balanced in his viewpoints. Admittedly I'm influenced by Moe Lane's take on him, but I like the idea of an angel that's generally happy and fluffy, but is more than willing to lay the smackdown on demons who hurt his kids! That, and he doesn't seem to get as much attention from fandom as some of the other, more prominent AA's, so I can indulge in speculation to my Heart's content.

2. A character you like

Michael. No deep reasoning there, I just like the idea of a Seraph who's attitude is "Here's the Truth, take it or leave it. Oh, you're a demon? Then the Truth is I'm gonna take your head."

3. A character you could give or take

Dominic. He's rather ambigious in the Canon. Not having the Superiors Guide where he's featured, I can't comment on how his initial writeup was modified from the core book, but I'm not terrifically comfortable with an AA that sees no conflict of interest in policing Heaven and then working with Hell to hunt down Outcast angels.

4. A character you don't really care for

David. I've got my personal conlficts with him, just because of some fanon that emerged from the INL that him in direct conflict with his offspring, Christopher. But as for the rest of it, I'll just borrow siadea's words:

"...well, 'not really care for' isn't quite the way I'd put it. He's very well written (in Sups 1 at least, and We Do Not Talk About the Revelations Cycle). It's just that what the good writing illustrates is something I would /back the hell away from./ He supports strength and community. Fine and good, but (to say very Judgily) he doesn't show any sort of distinguishment among groups /besides/ that they're a group, or that they're strong. Sure, he tries to reform them, but he /supports/ them first, and I don't think that's quite in the right order."

5. A character you'd like to spork

Laurence. Let's be blunt about this: Larry is a Nitwit. Sure he's the leader of the Host, but given how factionalized Heaven is, it's painfully obvious he's not a very good leader. In his writeups in both the core book and Night Music, he comes across as a rigid, uncompromising yutz, more determined to pay attention to Da Rulz than to what's right. And heaven help anyone in his organization that disagrees with him.

Now Princes!

1. A character you absolutely worship

Lilith. She's smart, she's sexy, she's got people wrapped around her little finger, and she's got red hair. Face it, she's a Heinlien heroine. :) I like the idea of a human managing to carve out a place in Hell for herself, and playing the various Princes off each other. It's problimatical how she tends to use her daughters as bargaining chips, but I could see her switching over to Heaven's side (or at abandoning Hell), as easily as I could see her remaining where she is.

2. A character you like

Vapula. Mostly as comedy relief. His obsession with Technology in the Mad Scientist sense, rather than the "Wow, let's show doctors how useful Thalidomide can been to aid pregnancies" sense, tends to blunt the horrors he could inflict on the world. Properly played however, he could be the most devastating thing to happen to the Earth if cut loose.

3. A character you could give or take

Nybbas. I find his "Hey baby, let's do lunch!" attitude a bit limiting to the character, but there's no denying he's one of the most successful DP's out there.

4. A character you don't really care for

Haagenti. Essentially a one note character. Yeah, he's the epitome of appetite, but as portrayed in the Core book he's not terribly bright, and doesn't take advantage of all the possible aspects of his Word he could take. Even Saminga seems creative by comparison.

5. A character you'd like to spork

Andrealphus. Because, in a properly run Dark campaign, he's just too damned nasty to think about. Also, did I mention I'm a fan of Christopher?
