"Sinking" got a run aground for a time. :) I finished up a chapter for a crossover fanfic that I've been doing for several months, then got started on it again after completing this first chapter of "Silent Lucidity". It's another one of those gawdawful Laurence is Being a Nitwit Again scenes, so I end up re-writing three times so it doesn't look like I'm slamming him completely (yeah, earlier drafts were worse on him.) :) Hopefully I'll have something to post by tomorrow afternoon.
Anyway, I'm glad you liked this little thing. I'm not sure how far I'll go with it (just got one more scene planned in my head) but it's interesting so far.
