The danger of impulse purchases
Jan. 13th, 2005 04:03 pmIn other news I got my Girl Genius Space Saver order from Studio Foglio yesterday, and realized (after comparing what I recieved to what I have already bought) that I paid a grand total of $14.95 for two comic books (and extra covers). Okay, three if I include the issue that was in the softback collection I'd bought recently.
OTOH I could interpet it as having five (or six) comics that I could sell on E-bay if I wanted. :)
And anyway it was worth it for this message that was e-mailed to me to confirm my order:
"Your order has been received!
It is with Great Joy that we received your Studio Foglio
order. We know that you can purchase silly comics
and fine artwork at any number of places, and thus
we appreciate the chance to fill your order and take

packing elves, who fill the warrens of our comic
catacombs with their simple songs of praise for you,
our customers, who ensure them a continuing supply of
velvet pants."
