Crisis du Jour
Nov. 24th, 2003 04:22 pmDoesn't look likely that Dad is going to come home for Thanksgiving. :-( But at least his condition isn't deteriorating in any major way. Mom snuck some homemade beef stew into his room for lunch today, and he enjoyed it.
The House of Plague continues to burn. Tracy is having tummy troubles similar to what Steve and I had this morning, but she insisted on going to work anyway. We noticed that Thomas has been unusually cranky and tired the past couple of days, and has been urinating a great deal, so I've got an appointment to take him to the doctor tomorrow.
I wonder how much it would cost to sterilize an entire house? Has to be cheaper than taking care of that post office building after the anthrax attacks...
My car is still in the shop. I managed to talk the mechanics out of replacing some hideously expensive "flow sensor" ($470 for that job, no thanks!) in favor of just clearing out some muck from the tubes.
