jeriendhalRecently I've posting fanfic again on the Terinu forum. It's been fun, and I'll admit I enjoy the egoboo. Folks there like what I write, and they say so, even if it's just "Oh, that's cool." But recently my latest story has been getting even better comments.
(roughly paraphrasing here.)
Chapter Five: "No! She can't really be dead!" [1]
Chapter Eight: (concerning the bad guy's motives for conquering the Earth) "Y'know, he's actually got a good point."
Man, when a writer can make the readers agree with the villian's point of view that is golden.
[1] The nice thing was, this was concerning an original character, not one of Peta's, whom readers would automatically be sympathetic to.
