Sigh

Dad is still stuck in the hospital, and starting to get depressed about it. All the doctors can say is that he has *some* kind of infection, which seems to be depressing his blood pressure. It seems doubtful that he'll be home by Thanksgiving. :(

Better

Took Tom to visit with Grandpa in the hospital. Grandpa enjoyed seeing him. Better still, the doctor came by and actually had a clue as to what seemed to be going on. Apparently my dad had an infection in his throat which moved down into his lung and actaully ate a hole in the lining. Which sounds gross, and will take a while to heal, but at least it's far better than having some nebulous infection which can't be identified.
