GURPS 4th Edition

Steve Jackson made the official announcement at the GAMA Trade Show today. It's the first major update of the system in fifteen years, and by anyone's reckoning it's long overdue. Mind you, it's also scary, because despite assurances that it'll be backward compatible with almost all the old books, I'm still looking at fifteen years and something over $3,000 worth of supplements that may or may not be totally useful to me come July. It doesn't help that the new core rules and apprently all the new supplements will be in hardback, which will put quite a dent in my budget.

Oh, well. Time to start writing more Pyramid articles. LOTS more Pyramid articles.
