Weekend Report:
Apr. 27th, 2009 04:33 amFriday: Helped my my to the information superhighway.
Saturday: took a day trip down to Assateague Beach. Kids were remarkably good and the water was utterly freezing (no surprise, this was the first day above 80 degrees we'd had this year). It took a while for Georgia to realize the big nasty pool of water wasn't going to swallow her up though.
Sunday: Kids were, um, not so good. Or rather, they were acting their ages which meant, with the heat added in, that they got frustrating at times. We did manage to go down to the open house at the National Capitol Trolley Museum though. No trolleys were running yet (they're still putting tracks down) but the main building was open and Tom enjoyed looking at the expanded train set they had on display. The new building is huge though. The new gift shop is as big as the entire front lobby of the old building. :)
