Summary: The Big Apple is terrified as a resurrected Aztec god attacks, with only a small time crook knowing the location of her nest, while David Carradine and Richard Roundtree track them both down.

Review: This is not, by any stretch of the imagination, a good movie, but it is a fascinating one. Shot on a shoestring in 18 days in 1982, it was done entirely on location in a manner that's hard to imagine today. It's New York, not the clean half-Disneyfied version we have today, but the ugly mess from the 70's, loud, obnoxious and perpetually on edge during the long hot summer. The storyline is complete 70's monster schlock, but it looks beautiful, and the final battle is well done for the budget they had.

Finally got the commissions from Cheeko that I'd ordered prior to Christmas. They aren't bad given they were just $10.00 apiece.
