May Sales Report - Ouch
Jun. 1st, 2012 04:14 amWell that sucked mightily. I'm not going to ever sell my books like hotcakes, but even compared to what I was doing before this month was seriously bad. I had a fair range of sales with my miscellaneous titles, but my consistent ten copies a month of Captive of the Red Vixen was reduced to something I could count on the fingers of one hand after a shop class accident.
This could be because I've just hit the max number of potential readers, or because I've been finding it online at various torrent sites. I've already contacted one site and gotten it removed and the user banned. I'll see if I can nail the others. Hopefully that will help. In the meantime, I'm still plugging along on Shadow of the Red Vixen, which is starting to ramp up now that the crisis is at hand and also on I Fought the Claw which is going a bit slower since I'm trying to be careful not to let it get maudlin like most of my stuff eventually ends up.
