Just put in an e-bay for a copy of the old "Solarquest" game, which is a nifty variation on Monopoly. Assuming that in Monopoly you had to pay delta-v costs to reach Park Place. :) I remember it being the board game of choice among my circle of friends in college (at least when we didn't want to bother with setting up Talisman with it's half-dozen expansion kits.)

Hopefully Tracy won't kill me if I win the bid. Perhaps if I offer to get rid of the games sitting on the back shelf in the basement...

Oh, cool! I have Solarquest. Becca and I play sometimes. I like the optional rules in which you can fire on the other player's ship! ;)

If you do not have optional rules it gets pretty darn boring towards the end. Slow crushing death, not fun especially for poor losers like any child under the age of puberty.

In other words, it's just like Monopoly. :P

Nah, Monopoly tends to have a faster end. Someone has the hotels and such on some property that has a very high rent to start with and so landing there just once can take someone out of the game. Solar Quest tends to be a more gradual decline.
