...well, no, but close. Anyway, sometime in 1985 I bought Man-to-Man the combat rules for GURPS, released a few months ahead of GURPS 1st Edition while Evil Stevie tweaked the ruleset a bit. Some twenty years later:

Number of GURPS books owned: 238 [1]

Number of GURPS e23 products downloaded: 19

Number of GURPS campaigns I've game mastered: 0

Number of GURPS campaigns I've played in: 0

Sad ain't it?

Manuscript Update: Week 2 for Opening Shots at Analog, plus no word back from Steven Marsh at Pyramid either about my latest article. Typically I don't know anything until the latter is published anyway.

[1] By my reckoning, all I need is GURPS Conan and Up Harzburk! (I know, but I'm a completist), and the new Prime Directive books to complete my collection. Yes, I'm quite mad.

Okay, I'm impressed. All my GURPS books can fit on one shelf. And that's with the books from other systems mixed. This may change over the next year, Steven willing.

Good luck on that. :) Most of my capacity comes from the fact that GURPS has been the only system I've really bought since going to college in 1988. Before that my tastes were all over the place. Somewhere I've still got copies of the James Bond rpg, Ringworld, and lost of Paranoia and d6 Star Wars matierial.

Hmm. Not sure what I did with the Red Dawn style rpg West End put out near the end of the Cold War.

Good heavens, Royce.

Mind you, I am most definitely not pointing any fingers......

Hell, I actually BOUGHT most of "TORG"....though it was at a con auction and it was for a buck a module. :)

Well, you administer the Mr. Steve Memorial collection. I figured you'd understand what having a big collection means. :)

Was TORG any good, by the way?

Torg rocked. Of course, it needs a good group, or like most games, will end up in the toilet.

wow, that's a lot of GURPs. we only have (gasp) one GURP book, the Discworld one, though hubby's always figured if we wanted to play it, we'd have to throw out the dice system. He's not a fan, lol.

Yeah I know what you mean, though I wouldn't even have a quarter as much GURPS stuff as you. But now I've both GM'd and played in a GURPS game (both fairly shortlived unfortunately).

Probably 2/3 of the books I own I'd have never played with.
