On a happier note...

jeriendhalI hooked with Jim on Sunday, picked up a manga I'd loaned him, returned a couple of videos I'd borrow.
Oh, yeah, and I did indeed see Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi. And my brain does hurt just thinking about it. Its a Gainax production at its most self-referential, fantasy worlds based on GameBoy tropes, sci-fi planets chock full of battling robots, and a Hong Kong that is the living embodiment of... well... Hong Kong. But there's a setup to the series that establishes the main characters and the mundane world they live in pretty firmly, which is why tossing in all the fantastic stuff works.
But I still don't have a reasonable explanation for the boobs.
