Now THAT'S egoboo!
Jan. 13th, 2004 09:49 amOver the past month or so, I've been writing a story based on two characters featured on the cover of a recent issue of Christine Morgan's "Sabledrake" on-line fantasy magazine.[1] A couple of days ago I got the nerve to write to the write to the artist, after getting sucked into the on-going sci-fi comic she's writing, and mentioned my little project, hoping to get her permission to pass the story along to Christine for eventual publication.
Peta, the artist, seems to be absolutly floored that anyone could have their muse so inspired by her work. Not only does she like the story so far, she even did a quick (and very good) pen & ink drawing of one scenes I described. Then she asked how fast I might be able to finish it so she could see how it ends. :) :) :)
Sure makes up for Thomas waking me up at 1:30 this morning!

[1] And if you're reading this, Tracy, no I didn't show or tell you about it. I wanted the darned thing finished before I showed it off for once, just in case my muse petered out.
