My Floor Fluffy: This is called "Bait and Switch" boys and girls

So, the guys came to install the floor laminate again.

And refused to guarantee their work.

Again.

Because the quality of the laminate boards we bought is, apparently, crap.

I called Home Depot Customer Compalnts and let htme know that I was not happy about my family walking on plywood for the past three weeks. I also told them that if I had to get a better quality laminate to get the work guaranteed, I wasn't going to pay a dime more for it. Because what I bought should have been good enough to have the work gauranteed the first time, otherwise that's just a bait & switch tactic to get me to pay more for the crap.

hmmmmm... When you bought the flooring did they give you the guarantee for the laminate? there is a difference between a material guarantee and a labor guarantee. If Home Despot is giving you grief demand a refund and go to Lowes. Then report Home Despot to the BBB as well as the company they subcontracted to do the work. Also I have found the phone calls to complaint departments go nowhere... However E-mails to corporate headquarters tend to attract attention especially with the key words Lawsuit, Misrepresentation, Bait and switch as well as Violation of contract withing the body of the text. Make sure you title the subject line appropriately and write in a clear and concise manner. The more professional you sound the quicker the response... Think about it.
