Worse and worse

Peta just posted a note to her DeviantArt page. She just got the news that her mother, who was fighting throat cancer, now has cancer in her lungs and liver, and only has two months at best to live. I wish there was something comforting that I could say to her, but I know there really isn't. I have contacted my friend Jon Blum in Oz, and I'm hoping the fannish community there might be able to provide her address, so I can send her a card at least, or flowers even.
