Unexpected diversions: Page Count
May. 2nd, 2007 04:42 pmSo just one a whim I mashed together all of my Tez and Maria stories just to see what the potential page count will be. I missed The Island Lord, but that's relatively unimportant since it clocked in at about five or six pages IIRC.
Total page count, including the incomplete Andrea's Story? 111. Which is over twenty pages less than The Dragon's Companion. Even assuming I beef up the page count with all of the old pictures and sketches done of T&M as a sort of "Making of" gallery in the back, that's still a mighty slim book.
Sigh.
I hate the idea of writing another story or two just to bring the page count up (for one thing, I seriously doubt Peta would appreciate having to draw more interior illos) but I was kinda hoping to at least break the 200 page barrier so the thing was more novel sized instead of a novella with delusions of granduer.
