The Urban Outdoors
Dec. 18th, 2007 06:37 amSo after leaving work, I walked over to the parking garage where I rent a space, to smell something peculiar coming from the bed of the pickup parked next to my car. Looking over, I saw there were three dead geese lying in the truck bed, obviously killed with shotgun blasts by a hunter, judging from the numerous pellet wounds.
I'm ambivalent about hunting, especially when it comes to species as widespread and obnoxious as Canadian Geese, but if you're going to hunt them, how could you possibly forget about their carcasses when you drive to work?
