Oh for God's Sake (hypothermia edition)

Two Weeks Ago: Notice hot water in shower had turned to lukewarm water.

Last Wendsday: Call American Hoem Shield to get it serviced

Last Thursday: Call service company assigned to the job to set up an appointment. They say they'll be over at around 8 the next morning.

Friday 8:30 am - Chalk thigns up to typical contractor time/space distortion. Play Mario Party 8.

9:00 - Start watching the end of Disc 6 of Wolf's Rain

9:30 - Call contractor to find out what's going. Get answering machine

10:00 - Get answering machine.

10:01 - Call AHS. Lady says she'll try and call them.

11:00 - Call AHS. They're still trying to contact them.

11:30 - Call AHS. They'll try and get another contractor out.

5:00 pm - No really, we'll get another one.

Weekend of Lukewarm Water:

Monday: Call new contractor. They'll be out Wendsday.

Wendsday: Guy comes over at 8:30 am. Replaces burned out element in bottom part of the unit and the thermometer. Says we should have hot water in an hour.

10:30 - Get into work.

8:00 pm - Try to give Thomas bath. Water is ice cold. Breaker is just fine.

I'm not terribly happy about this.
