Work update

Still no air conditioning. At 3 pm yesterday, after everyone here who wasn't asthmatic or already sick stuck around, they building management finally dragged in some industrial grade fans, which helped slightly. But if they don't get it running today sometime soon I'm cutting out early, short on sick time or not.

I called Thomas' school and spoke with his teacher. She agreed that his upsets could be from the changes we've all gone thru in the past few weeks... but that we seem to be doing the right things (giving me time to spend one on one with him) and reassuring him and staying positive... its just something he's going to have to work through.

Also this isn't his last week of summer school...next week is. Summer school runs until July 31.

Well dang, at least when the air conditioners have gone down here at mumble College they have brought around spot coolers. Then again we are in central Arizona. In summer it's either find a way to provide even a little cooling or shut down.

And if they didn't, I'd do the same thing and use sick, personal, or vacation hours.
