Unexpected Diversions: Marketing Fail

Royce considers briefly the idea of posting about UD in a forum centered on RaceFail. Then he hits himself hard on the back of the head and forgets about it.

Though admittedly there's a lot to discuss. You've got your minority figure (Maria) who doesn't just have a different skin color, she's actually (from a technical standpoint) inhuman. You've got the whiter than white boy, Tez. Who, to put it bluntly, is a condescending bastard who can arguably be using the much more immature Maria for his own purposes. Or maybe he's the Magical Negro, who knows.

At minimum I'd get a shitload of hits on my storefront.

That could be an interesting marketing point. Although I can see it being a massive double edged sword, too. Just from skimming the points on it. XD You'd have to have the skin of steel to deflect criticism, because I'm sure there will be. I don't see the controversy in it, but I know it's easy to find if one looks for it. >_>

Incidentally, Racefail made me realize what a not sensitive to race minority person I am. I'm not sure if I should be ashamed, but it was certainly educating to say the least.
