Yes, they were both armed. What, you want all the details? You want it all written down so it can be recorded and used by some moronic drama director for great epic about the Twenty Years War? No. I murdered them. They may have had families who lost their fathers that day, but I murdered them because I valued my own life more than I did theirs. That’s what it all boils down to in the end.

Hopefully none of you will kill me for deliberately undercutting Whitepelt's "heroic" moments. It's rather like that early geopolitical simulator or the Mac that if you screwed up and started a nuclear war, the screen went black and curtly informed you that no you weren't getting pretty mushroom clouds for destroying civilization.
