Kim is a lot of fun - particularly for young boys, but I still enjoy it. Don't know that it is worth plowing through. I haven't plowed through Atlas Shrugged, either, but I can't say that deficiency weighs heavily on my conscience. ;-)
Hopefully you'll find Kim enjoyable, despite Kipling's cultural limitations. It's a youngster's adventure tale, not the great novel.
