jeriendhal | Snowpocalypse Update

Snow finally quit between 3 and 4 pm yesterday. We definitely got more than 30 inches. I know because I've spent all day trying to shovel it from around our cars. Pointless really. The section I'm parked in is technically private property so it has to be plowed by the homeowners association. The half on the other side of the parking lot was plowed, by then the plow driver just gave up. Most likely because there's no place to PUT the snow once he shoves it out of the way. Meanwhile the county plowed out the middle part of the road by our house, which means there's now a twelve foot long, four foot high snow and ice ridge behind Tracy's car. I dug out the front and sides but doing the rest was just too much to contemplate, especially when my left shoulder started to tell me that continuing would be a Very Bad Idea.

Meanwhile we're trying very, very hard not to murder our children.

I'll post pictures for my Aussie friends eventually so they can see what they're missing.
