Snowpoc... Oh, this isn't funny anymore

They're predicting more Tuesday night. Perhaps five inches in all. So it's not as bad as before but this is really adding insult to injury. And my back is horribly sore and I suspect the damned plow actually did push things around enough that I don't have an excuse NOT to go to work today.

We've never, ever had weather this bad. I mean, massive snowfalls every ten years or so sure, but we've never gotten bashed so many times in a row.

We've never had so many hot days in a row either. I'm pretty sure there's something in this climate change thing. Last year I didn't even turn the heater on in winter at all!

We get hit with snows like this varying in 10-20 year rotations. Then every so often we get Dumped on. Back several years ago my family in NC got 58 inches and it was 2 weeks without power. Thank ghods for Woodstoves that have cooking surfaces and oil lamps.

I remember one when I was like 4 or 5 that when dad finished shoveling the path to the car I could not see over the snow banks. It was very scary. (I'm 51 now so you can count back ;) )
