jeriendhalIndependant comic book artist Harvey Pekar was found dead early this morning by his wife, Joyce.
I can't say I was ever a real fan of his work. I read My Cancer Year and it didn't really grab me at all. But you had to admire the man for pushing forward with illustrating his life and his vision of the world, laughs, warts and all.
