Just ask Fate Testarossa Harlaown, a skilled and powerful mage who fought the TSAB's White Devil Nanoha Tachamachi, defeating her frequently and requiring Nanoha to in fact develop new attack for successful befriending... Only to be brought to woobiehood by her own mother's actions. (Is it any wonder that Precia Testarossa is brought in as the villain by many fic authors in order to see a mountain of punishment brought down on her?)
