Oh, yay, Winnetou... the only Apache whose native language is German witha French accent.

I'm not so sure about the movies, but the books... I had a phase in my early teens during which I devoured them.

Trust me, the Winnetou books were popular WAY past the war, and WAY more than just in Germany. I grew up on them and love them to bits still.
