Anybody read this yet? I'm thinking about getting it for my Kindle and I wonder if it's worth the eight bucks.

Webscription has it for $6, and offers the prologue and first chapter for online reading.

Read it, enjoyed it, can't be sure it's worth $8 to you. It covers the same timeframe up to the end of Volume 3. There's a flashback scene with the Boys and a few details added here and there, but it's pretty much the same story in different format. Reading the descriptions does help me pick up what's an important detail and what was just random background filler. It is well written.

I got it as a gift from a friend, so I'll give it a read. I'll admit that the sample I downloaded from Amazon isn't initially encouraging. Whole lot of Tell instead of Show. :/
