Laughs wildly. More like when don't I write OCs? I don't do anything special I think to make them not Mary Sues, except make sure they're reasonably well rounded. Closest I've come to Mary Sue-dom is probably Rachel in Returned to Life, who is super important to human history and becomes best buddies with the main canon gang, but I like to think she enough redeeming features she escapes this.
Oh, and Tez. But he's in a category by himself.
