I've been fighting my annual SAD with some difficulty, and frankly slacking on my writing. To get over this, I'm opening a call for drabble prompts. One hundred words set in any of my worlds, Tez and Maria, For Your Safety, The Red Vixen Adventures, the Dragon's Companion, or the Triumvirate universe. Any subject, so long as it's around PG-13 at worst.

In return, I'm going to post one a day. Every Day. For the year. 365 days. 36,500 words. Less than full novel honestly.

If I can't at least do that, I don't deserve to be called a writer.

I think you may have stumped me on #5 there...

Heh, #5 probably comes from reading Spacebattles.com's Creative Writing forum. A recent trope/trend has been for self-insert fanfic in which a Random Omnipotent Being (EG: We don't know for sure who did it, but whoever it was certainly has well-nigh Q or godlike powers) removes someone from our world and drops them into a fictional world. Sometimes with no explanation, sometimes with a note saying, "You know what's wrong with world X? Problem Y is what's wrong with it, use your Out Of Context knowledge and fix it if you ever want to go home."

Not a new trope, but I *think* popularized recently by the fanfic Sleeping With the Girls, in which the author/character is shifting along a loop of six fictional worlds whenever he loses consciousness for any reason. (And he's now desperately trying to fix things after realizing he transported part of a used-by-the-heroes-for-victory McGuffin from one world and left it with a villain in another world)
