For relative definitions of "dead". Remember all those Teraport clones from a few years back? I'm betting Petey had a backup Tagon made when the team used his handy teraport cage to inflitrate the facility.

Which doesn't change the fact *that* particular Tagon is dead, and that he showed more balls than I ever expected to see from him.

OHmy.

I didn't think Tayler was really going to kill Tagon off, but I couldn't see how he could bring him back without cheating outrageously.

Now I can see. Thanks, Royce.

(Of course, this doesn't automatically mean he's going to reprieve Tagon, but at least we've found one way that's plausible.)

Judging from Sunday's strip, evidentially either Tagon is really dead, or Petey is an inhuman, cold-blooded, lying AI. Which would fit in with Kevyn's opinion of him nicely. Of course Kevyn going back to play volleyball after getting Petey's announcement ain't much better...

Petey is inhuman and cold blooded, and he's definitely an AI. Although there's enough organic versions of him as well now that he may soon start qualifying as a separate race.

Also, Petey would know that Kevyn would figure out right off the bat that the returned Tagon would be a clone of one sort or another - and not react at all pleasantly to the possibility. I think Tagon's pretty much permanently gone.

Was a rather bloodthirsty week, wasn't it?

I think it was Tagon mutilating and then murdering the target is what got to me. Lopping off Elf's head was more of a routine combat injury in that outfit...
