"Baths are not to place to have pensive looks," Tez said sternly. "What's wrong?"
"Sorry, I just got to thinking," she said. "I'm going to have to get more servants. With all the work that's piled up with the construction of the temple, I can't keep the manor up just by myself like when..."
"When you were a servant yourself?" he asked.
"Yes. I hate the idea of ordering someone to do something, because I'm too busy to do it myself."
"The price of independence, is sometimes having dependants."
"Better than the alternative." She touched the scar circling her neck.
