colliemommie "Mother's Little Helper"
'Cuz she's running for the shelter/Of her mother's little helper… Thank you, Mick Jagger & Co. for engraving that into my brain.

Colin had painted flowers on the walls with fingerpaint, Mary had fallen off the stool and was crying, and Rupert was tromping mud through the living room and stating, "It wasn't my fault."
So she popped the yellow pill and the room became blessedly still, as Time slowed to a crawl.
Scrubbing the walls clean was first. Then she gently disinfected and bandaged Mary's knee.
Rupert… well… The mud was easy enough to clean, and two seconds RealTime he'd find himself neck deep in the sinkhole he'd created.
There were distinct advantages being married to a mad scientist, she thought.
