Settlers of Catan and RoboRally are the only board games I can remember playing relatively recently. I don't consider card games "board games", though, so I was a bit thrown by your question phrasing. I have played M:tG before, but I won't play with tournament-people because they have a focus on speed-kill winning while I'm more interested in playing for more complex and unusual events.

I threw in card games mostly because they've also been featured on Tabletop, and don't involve deep roleplaying or extensive setup like D&D or GURPS.
