Welcome the Tran-Circumferal Train System, the Groupmind announced, using a cheerful female voice. You'll be accelerating at exactly one gravity, until you're moving at 50,000 KPH, but before that, we need to assure your safety.
"Oh God, I hate those words," the sariman standing beside Nef muttered.
"First time?" she asked.
"Yeah."
Please have a seat in your acceleration couch, and let your 'morph strap you in.
They stepped into the car. "When it says 'strapped...,'" he began to ask, then stopped in front of his couch in dismay.
"Pray you don't have to scratch your nose," she said wearily.
