"You're going to have every astronomer weeping when they all finish waking up," Steve said, looking up at the sky through the Roof.

"I think you're exaggerating," the Groupmind replied, sounding remarkably testy. "Besides, once we'd calculated the mass of the asteroid belt, it was obvious that we were going to need more material that for the Ring's construction."

"Did you need all of Jupiter's moons? Even Europa?"

"We tested it for life first," the Groupmind repeated.

"But you even blew up Pluto!"

"Look, it wasn't like it was a real planet anyway. I don't see what you're complaining about."

A continent is a separate and distinct large body of land with little or no connection to any other, such as Australia, Antarctica, Africa, or the two Americas. Europe is a region on the western end of the continent of Asia, and has a poorer claim to the status of "continent" than India.

Pluto, however, is a planet.
