For avanti_90:  Giant squids have a secret civilization."

It wasn't that the twenty foot long mini-sub was being escorted by two squids. It was that they were flashing Morse Code with their bio luminescent bodies.

"So what are they asking for this time?" the sub's captain asked. "More krill?"

The ambassador frowned, scribbling notes about the squids' signals in her notebook. "They're yelling about a treaty violation, someone diving into an off-limits sea."

"What here?"

"No, someplace in Russia."

"Russia? No I don't want to know. Anything else?"

"Yeah. Also they're saying 'How many asteroids have to land before you get the idea?"

"I think we'd better surface."
