Yesterday was a good day

First, I left work early to attend Thomas' quarterly review with is teachers. He is doing very well in school. In several area he's just about up to speed with his age-peers, and in a others he's leaping ahead of what the teachers had planned for him, so they'll be expanding his learning beyond what they'd intended next semester. He's been really, really blossoming at school and at home, and it's heartening to see.

Also, while I was out, they gave out more Ace awards, and this time my entire department recieved one! So basically I've gotten two checks worth $250 each in the past two weeks from my company. Go me!
